modplan-e 3.0

modplan-e is a software tool designed to make it easier for solar panel planners to subdivide and choose the modules for a roof or other surface. The planning process is simple: first, a surface is defined, then any necessary clear surfaces are identified where no modules can be placed. After that, the user can select from a range of potential modules, and Modplan-e will determine the maximum number of modules that can fit on the surface.

Modplan-e is a pv planning tool which should make easier the subdivision and choice of the modules on a roof or a surface to the planner of solar modules.
The planning of the modules on a surface goes very simply. First a surface is defined. Then the necessary free surfaces on which no solar modules can lie are defined perhaps.
Now one can be selected from a self-defined amount in potential modules. Now modplan-e determines the at most possible number of modules on the surface.
